Invisalign ClinCheck Video

The above video shows the 3 separate videos you will receive after the initial impressions of your teeth have been taken.

The first video is the front view, second is the side view, and the last is the top and bottom view.

There are 2 things to point out:

1. Interproximal Reduction (Space created between teeth)
You will notice that there are numbers placed in between the teeth on the upper jaw. This is the amount of Interproximal Reduction required between these teeth. In this case it is 0.5mm of reduction. Which is VERY small, but accumulatively, is quite significant. This procedure helps create space for teeth to move around. Alternatively, teeth could be pulled out, but I'd personally prefer to keep all my teeth!

2. Composite Buttons
Next, you will see some extensions on some of the teeth, which I call composite buttons. These are used to help move the teeth in the exact direction that is needed. The material used is tooth-coloured so, don't worry, it won't be pink!

This case particular case requires 30 trays, which equates to 60 weeks of active treatment. (30 trays x 2 weeks per tray).

Once everyone agrees with the final outcome, and understand all the adjustments required, Invisalign will start constructing the trays and treatment can start once the trays have been received.

I hope I have explained this well.
